I loved them all because you are giving back to the community and also bonding with fellow Latino peers. Why did you join YHPAA? What have you gained from being a part of YHPAA? My initial motivation to join YHPAA was to participate in community service and get to know other Latinos in Austin. I am so impressed with this organization because YHPAA maintains an active role in the community not only through fund raisers but also through mentoring and our physical presence. I strongly believe that the face to face time one shares with young people can influence and shape their lives in ways which we may never be fully aware of, but where our influence is not forgotten. I am fortunate to have met and become friends with quality people in this organization and I look forward to establishing even more relationships. |
